The Order Line Item Summary table provides detailed transaction data that can be used to calculate your Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for a given period. How to use this table effectively is outlined below:

Steps to Calculate COGS

  1. Export the Data

    • Use the download button in the top right corner to export this table to Excel

  2. Add Your Cost Data

    • Create a new column for "Unit Cost"

    • Gathering info from your inventory or purchasing system, enter your cost per unit for each SKU

  3. Calculate Total COGS

    • Multiply the "Sum Quantity" by your unit cost for each SKU

    • Formula: Sum Quantity Γ— Unit Cost = COGS for that SKU

    • Sum up the COGS for all SKUs to get your total COGS
