The Order Line Item Summary table provides detailed transaction data that can be used to calculate your Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for a given period. How to use this table effectively is outlined below:
Steps to Calculate COGS
Export the Data
Use the download button in the top right corner to export this table to Excel
Add Your Cost Data
Create a new column for "Unit Cost"
Gathering info from your inventory or purchasing system, enter your cost per unit for each SKU
Calculate Total COGS
Multiply the "Sum Quantity" by your unit cost for each SKU
Formula:
Sum Quantity Γ Unit Cost = COGS for that SKU
Sum up the COGS for all SKUs to get your total COGS
