Uploading Your General Ledger Accounts
To be able to map your general ledger accounts, our system requires a simple three-column CSV file. Follow the steps below to complete the upload process:
Navigate to the General Ledger Accounts page
Download the CSV Template
On the General Ledger Accounts, select to download the CSV template.
This template provides the exact format needed, including three columns: Account Number, Account Name, and Currency.
Prepare Your CSV File
Open the downloaded template in a spreadsheet editor.
Enter the relevant details for each general ledger account:
Account Number: Unique identifier for the account.
Account Name: Descriptive name of the account.
Currency: The currency associated with the account.
Save the completed file in CSV format.
Upload the CSV File
Editing Your General Ledger Accounts
If you need to modify or expand your chart of accounts after the initial upload, you have two options:
Option 1: Reupload a New Chart of Accounts
Simply prepare an updated CSV file and upload it again following the steps outlined above.
The new upload will overwrite or add any new accounts as needed.
Option 2: Manually Add Individual Accounts
If you only need to add a few new accounts, you can do so manually:
