Bluedot offers DC Fast Charging, designed to rapidly charge your electric vehicle (EV). Charging times can vary between 15 and 60 minutes, depending on several factors:

  • Station Power Rating: Each charging station has a power rating in kilowatts (kW), which indicates its maximum charging speed. Bluedot’s network includes chargers ranging from 50 kW to 350 kW.

  • Vehicle Charging Capacity: The speed at which your vehicle charges depends on how quickly your EV can accept power. Vehicles with higher charging capacities will benefit from faster charging rates.

  • Charging Speed: While the maximum power rating provides an upper limit, actual charging speeds may be lower due to factors such as battery temperature and current charge level.

Important:

  • Charging Time: The charging time will generally be quicker with higher-rated chargers. However, even with the fastest chargers, charging from 0% to 100% may take longer.

  • Charging Speed Reduction: After your vehicle reaches approximately 80% charge, the charging speed slows down significantly. This is a standard practice to protect the battery and ensure its longevity.

For the most accurate information on charging times and speeds, refer to the specific details provided by the charging station and your vehicle’s manufacturer.
