Creating a BlueGive Profile

To create a new BlueGive profile, contact your Blue Trust Advisor to request an invitation to sign up.

You will receive an email with the subject β€œ<Advisor Name> has invited you to the BlueGive by Ronald Blue Trust Charitable Giving Platform”

Click Get Started to launch the Set Password window. Ensure your password meets all the requirements and input your Date of Birth and Zip Code. Click Confirm.

Upon clicking Confirm you will be redirected to https://www.bluegive.org to login using your Email and newly created Password.

Click Get Started and scroll down to check the Acknowledge the Terms of Use box.

Enter your Donor-Advisor Fund account details:

  • Select a Custodian (Schwab or Fidelity)

  • Create a name for your DAF

  • Enter your First & Last Name, Email, Phone, & Full Address

Congrats! Upon clicking Create DAF you are all set up with your Charitable Giving DAF powered by BlueGive!


Editing Personal Information

  1. To edit or update your personal information, such as your name, mailing address, or phone number click on the person icon in the top right corner of BlueGive:

  2. Here you will be able to upload/edit a photo, edit your first/last name, add a secondary mailing address, or update your phone number

Please note that only your advisor can update your email address. If you'd like to update your email address please reach out to your advisor and let them know.


Updating a Client's Email Address

Follow the steps below to update a client's email address. Please note that updating an email address can only be completed by an advisor.

  1. On the advisor dashboard page click on All DAF's

  2. Click the three dots to the right of the client's name that you want to update the email for

  3. Click Edit Client Details

  4. Update the email address to the correct one and click Save

  5. The client will receive an email to the new email address and will be asked to confirm these changes.
