Downloading Your Tax Receipt

Tax Receipts serve as the official acknowledgment from the GiveClear Foundation confirming tax-deductible contributions and will include the donor’s name, contribution date, and amount. To download your tax receipt, follow these instructions:

  1. Click the Documents icon in the top right corner of the platform > navigate to the Tax Receipts tab to view all contributions in a given year.

  2. Click Generate Tax Receipt to select a Contributor and Year > Click Generate to download the tax receipt PDF.

  3. The tax receipt will pull all contributions Year-to-Date for the period selected.


Charitable Contribution Amounts When Filing Your Tax Return

To determine the total amount to include on your tax return, sum up the "Amount" column for Cash Contributions or the "Representative Value" column for Security Contributions as listed in the table on your tax receipt,

* The date GiveClear™ Foundation received your gift.

** As a courtesy, the representative price per share and value of securities are displayed for the date GiveClear™ received them. For equities, this reflects the mean price per share, which is an average of the intraday price. If you contributed mutual fund shares, we are displaying the closing price on the date GiveClear™ received them. Please consult your tax advisor for advice about your deduction.
