Your advisor profile is the foundation of your BlueMind workspace. Completing it ensures your information is accurate, keeps your compliance records in order, and helps you get the most out of the platform. This guide walks you through each section.
Getting started
After logging in, navigate to your profile settings to begin by clicking on the profile picture icon and selecting "my profile". You can complete the sections below in any order, and you can return to update your information at any time.
Personal information
Start by adding your personal details in "general":
Name — the name you use professionally with clients
Profile photo — a professional headshot helps personalize your workspace
Disclosure document
Upload your disclosure document to your profile in the "general" section. Keeping your disclosure on file makes it easy to reference and share, and supports your compliance record within BlueMind.
Professional information
Next, add the professional details that identify you as a licensed advisor under "licenses":
Name
License number
License type
Province/state
Issue and expiry date
Keeping this information current helps ensure your profile accurately reflects your credentials.
CE credits
Track your continuing education by adding your CE credits to your profile. Recording your credits in BlueMind helps you stay organized and keep an up-to-date view of your professional development requirements.
Insurance company contracts
Add your contracts with the insurance companies you work with. Recording these contracts keeps your carrier relationships organized in one place and ensures your profile reflects the products and companies you're authorized to offer.
Keeping your profile up to date
Your profile isn't a one-time setup. As your credentials, contracts, and CE credits change, return to your profile to keep everything current. An up-to-date profile keeps your records accurate and audit-ready.
