πŸ•’ Group Session Duration & Frequency

⏳ Group Session Duration

All our group tutoring sessions last 60 minutes.

πŸ“… Group Session Frequency

  • We work with a subscription-based model of online tutoring classes.

  • Our minimum requirement is to work with your child for at least one hour every week. This is the most effective way in which our tutors can make sure your child is making progress and does not forget what he/she has already learned.

  • Once you subscribe to one of our group sessions, your class will be scheduled on the same day (and at the same time) every week.

  • If you need special assistance, you’re welcome to add additional hours to your subscription.

πŸ“† Group Session Availability

  • We offer tutoring sessions every day (including weekends), from 8.00 am until 8.00 pm EST.

  • Before we can assign a specific group class for your child, we'll need to understand your specific needs and assess your child’s level of French.

πŸͺ™ Group Session Cost

The rate for our group tutoring sessions is $20 per class.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Group Matching for Group Sessions

How many students are there in each group class?

We can accommodate a minimum of two students and a maximum of six students per class.

How does your team select the right group class for my child?

We use the following criteria to categorize our group classes:

  • Grade level (from SK and up to Grade 7).

  • Level of French (beginner, intermediate, or advanced).

  • Curriculum preference (Core French or French Immersion classes).

During our initial conversation with you, we'll ask whether you have any preferences in regards to the tutor that will be working with your child.

  • For example, you may prefer a male or female tutor, a person with a certain teaching style and personality, etc.

We’ll take your feedback into consideration when matching your child with the right group session.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ« Group Session Tutors

How can I make sure that your group class curriculum will help my child achieve the level of French they need?

  • All of our tutors work with the Canadian School French curriculum, whether it be for Core French or French Immersion group classes.

  • In your first trial class, our tutors will assess your child’s level of French, find the gaps they currently have, and create an action plan to fill those gaps in future sessions.

  • If your child is a beginner in French, our tutors may sometimes recommend that they begin with 1:1 tutoring sessions before joining a group class. You also have the option to combine group and individual sessions at the same time to get maximum results in the shortest amount of time.

Do I keep the same tutor?

Absolutely! You would work with the same tutor at all times, unless you request a change of tutor.
