Our prepayment authorisation fee has increased to £30 in the UK. This hold amount is in line with our customers’ average charging session cost and ensures we can correctly validate payment methods before a charge starts.

As a reminder, this amount is only held in escrow, not taken, and will be released back into your bank account as soon as we receive the payment for your charging session. We will only capture this amount if we fail to charge you for your charging session multiple times. Please keep in mind that the time it takes for the £30 to be available in your account again depends on your bank. Prepayments are limited to once per hour. If you charge more than once an hour, we will only hold one charge of £30.
