Overview
This release delivers major performance improvements to how recent TouchPoint responses are stored, loaded, and displayed across ETO, resulting in smoother experiences when viewing, editing, or managing responses. The release also includes a fix to ensure enrollment identifiers remain accurate for reporting and program tracking.
Enhancements
TouchPoints | Faster performance with response caching
We’ve introduced a behind-the-scenes caching system that improves how recent TouchPoint responses are handled across the platform.
What this means for you:
Faster page loads – Recent TouchPoint data now loads more quickly on key dashboards and forms.
Consistent data views – Caching ensures response lists display reliably across ETO.
Automatic updates – When responses are created, edited, or deleted, views update automatically to reflect changes.
Where you’ll see improvements:
Staff and Participant Dashboards now load recent TouchPoints using the new cache system.
View and Edit TouchPoints, including multi-participant and batch upload workflows, now reflect updates in real time.
Prepopulate from Similar Response uses cached data for faster and more accurate pre-filling.
TouchPoints | Manual refresh for recent responses
As part of the new TouchPoint performance improvements, a “Load Old Responses” button is available on the View Participant TouchPoints page. This optional action allows users to manually refresh a TouchPoint’s response list to ensure they’re viewing the most up-to-date information when needed.
Notes:
This action appears only for Participant TouchPoints.
The button is visible to all users who have access to the View Participant TouchPoints page. At this time, there is no configuration option to hide or disable the button.
TouchPoints | Database usage for select pages
To maintain clarity and accuracy, certain TouchPoint pages — including Family, Anonymous, General, and Entity — now pull data directly from the database rather than cached responses. This approach improves reliability while maintaining fast load times where caching is most effective.
Fixes
Enrollments | Unique Enrollment Identifier updates
We fixed an issue where Unique Enrollment Identifiers were not recalculated when participants were re-enrolled after dismissal. Identifiers now update correctly, supporting accurate reporting and program tracking.
