Release Notes | May 1 | ETO 20.111.0

Overview

ETO 20.111.0 focuses on HMIS data integrity and ETO Connect reliability. This release includes one enhancement and three fixes that improve data entry, validation accuracy, and export compliance.

Enhancements

HMIS | Expanded character limit for funding source grant identifier

The "Grant Identifier - Local or Other Funding Source" field in HMIS Project Descriptor Data Elements (PDDE) now supports up to 300 characters, up from 100. If your organization enters multiple grant ID values in a single field, you can now do so without workarounds. This change supports more accurate project-level reporting.

Fixes

HMIS | SSN validation no longer triggered when SSN quality is indicated

When a qualifying SSN Quality response is selected — "Client doesn't know," "Client refused," or "Data not collected" — leaving the Social Security Number field blank no longer generates a data entry validation error. The system now correctly recognizes these responses as intentional.

HMIS | Corrected response values in CurrentLivingSituation export

The CurrentLivingSituation.csv export previously contained outdated response values that did not align with HUD Data Standards. Affected records now export the correct values, supporting compliance with HUD reporting requirements and eliminating submission errors.

Connect | Intake form submission error resolved for single demographic duplicate check

Submitting a Connect Intake Form no longer returns a generic error when only one demographic field (other than Case Number) is configured for an exact match duplicate check. Intake forms submit successfully under this configuration.
