Note: This article is written for Giving Day hosts. If you are a participant or supporter of a Giving Day, this article may not pertain to your efforts.
The Verification Report allows partners to quickly review whether participating organizations are able to receive donations and payouts for a Giving Day. This report helps identify which verification steps have been completed (and which still need attention) so you can proactively support organizations before your event goes live.
Where can I find the Verification Report?
To access the Verification Report:
Log in to your Partner Dashboard
Open the Manage Organizations menu
Select Verification Report
You’ll see a list of all organizations registered for your Giving Day, along with their donation and payout readiness.
What organization information can I see in the Verification Report?
Each organization in the report will include:
Organization name
EIN
Registered by (name and email of the admin who registered the organization)
Donation status
Payout status
A checklist of completed verification steps
What verification checklist steps are tracked?
The Verification Report shows progress for the following required steps:
1. Donation Requirements
Organizations must complete all of the following to receive donations:
EIN verified
The organization’s EIN has been submitted and successfully verified.Stripe payments enabled
The organization has connected a Stripe account for payment processing.State compliance attested
The organization has completed the required state compliance attestation.
When all donation requirements are met, the organization will show Donations enabled.
2. Payout Requirements
Organizations must complete all of the following to receive payouts:
Bank account added
A bank account has been connected for payouts.Account verified
The connected payout account has been fully verified.
When all payout requirements are met, the organization will show Payouts enabled.
How do I filter and search the report?
You can use built-in tools to quickly find organizations that need action:
Search by organization name using the search bar
Filter by status to view:
Organizations that cannot receive donations: meaning they will not appear in the Search when donations open)
Organizations that cannot receive payouts: they were able to receive donations, but an issue with their account isn't allowing for the transfer of funds)
These filters are especially helpful as your Giving Day approaches and deadlines are nearing.
How should I use this report?
The Verification Report is designed to help partners:
Identify organizations that are not yet donation-ready
Spot payout issues early to avoid post-event delays
Proactively communicate next steps to participating organizations
Monitor overall readiness across all registered organizations
