Updated over a week ago

With Bonzo Spark, you now have the ability to automatically transcribe and summarize all inbound and outbound calls and voicemails in Bonzo. With the option for on-demand transcription and summaries, you can selectively apply this feature to specific calls. This functionality provides an efficient way to generate accurate transcripts and summaries, enhancing communication clarity and improving record-keeping for you and your team.

Accessing Transcription Settings

  • Navigate to the "Communication" tab and click on "Voice & Messaging"

  • Scroll down to "Transcription Settings"

  • To edit "Transcription Settings" or to utilize on-demand transcription you must first have the "Record Calls" feature toggled on. Note: scroll over the (i) icon to view the states that require verbal recording consent when recording calls.

Endabling Transcription

  • Calls: You can enable transcription for all inbound and outbound calls for 15 tokens (per each started minute). For 20 tokens (per each started minute) you can receive a transcript + a summary of the call for your records and to share with teammates.

  • Voicemails: You can enable transcription for all inbound and outbound voicemails for 15 tokens (per each started minute). For 20 tokens (per each started minute) you can receive a transcript + a summary of the voicemail.

Viewing the Transcript & Summary

  • Once generated, the transcript & summary will be available directly in the conversation view.

  • Members can easily review and refer to the transcript or summary and share with team members.

Using the On-Demand Transcription

If you would prefer to be more selective with transcription and summarize, you can utilize Bonzo Spark's on-demand option.

  • From your "Voice & Messaging" tab, ensure that "Call recording" is toggled on and that the automated "Transcription Settings" are disabled.

  • Next, navigate to any conversation and below a call or voicemail you will see a button titled "Transcribe."

  • Click this button and then choose the "Transcription Type," either a simple transcription of your audio ("Transcribe only") or a detailed transcription along with a concise summary ("Transcription with summary") of your call or voicemail.

  • Once you select your option and click on the pink "Transcribe" button in the bottom right, the transcription and/or transcription and summary will populate in your conversations tab directly beneath the call or voicemail.

Using the Summarize Feature as Notes

Navigate to Your Conversations Tab

  • From your dashboard, click on "Conversations" and select a contact or a conversation. In the bottom reply box click on "Note"

  • Underneath the reply box you will see a new option that allows you to summarize the conversation for the last 50 back and forth messages with this contact.

Note: This feature will not only summarize communication but any actions taken on this contact (i.e - moving to a new campaign or pipeline stage, etc.)

Use Summarize

  • Click the "Summarize" button to generate and view the communication break down

  • If you click the pink send arrow in the bottom right, this summary will be posted as a note to the conversation view and now visible to you and to anyone who has shared access to this contact.

Note: Clicking the pink send arrow does not send these notes to the contact.
