News List

This is the primary news overview where you can browse all published articles.

Written by Ronny Christensen

How to get here

  1. Click News in the left menu.

  2. You are now on the news overview.

Step-by-step guide

1. Browse articles: When the page loads, all articles are shown in a grid. The first article fills a larger card (half the row), making it stand out as the featured post. All other articles appear as smaller cards in a four-column grid. While articles are loading, you will see placeholder skeleton cards so you know that content is on the way.

2. Search for an article: At the top of the page you will find a search bar on the left side. Start typing the title of the article you are looking for. The search uses a short delay (debounce), so it waits until you stop typing before fetching results. A dropdown appears with matching articles, each with a thumbnail and a highlighted title. Click a result to go directly to that article's detail page. You can also press Enter to navigate to the first matching result. If no results are found, a "Not found" message is shown in the dropdown.

Search field (optional): Type a keyword or title to find a specific article. Results appear in a dropdown as you type.

3. Sort articles: To the right of the search bar you will find a Sort by button. Click it to open a dropdown with the following options:

Newest: Shows the newest articles first (sorted by creation date, descending). This is the default.

Oldest: Shows the oldest articles first (sorted by creation date, ascending).

Click an option to re-sort the article grid immediately. The currently selected sort option is shown in bold next to "Sort by."

4. View an article: Click any article card in the grid to open its full detail page. Each card shows a preview with the article's cover image, title and basic information.

5. Load more articles: If there are more than 8 articles, a Load more button is shown at the bottom of the page. Click it to load additional articles into the grid.
