What This Screen Does

This is your file management dashboard — think of it as a bird’s-eye view of all your stored files and folders. It shows you how much storage you are using across different cloud services (Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive), breaks down your data activity over time, and gives you quick access to your folders and recently added files. You can also upload new files and create new folders right from this screen.

How to Get There

  1. Open the dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click File.

  3. You are now on the File Manager Overview screen.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Review Cloud Storage Widgets

At the top of the screen you will see three cards showing your connected cloud storage services:

Widget

What It Shows

Dropbox

How much space you have used out of your total Dropbox allowance. Displayed as a progress bar with exact numbers.

Drive

How much space you have used out of your total Google Drive allowance.

OneDrive

How much space you have used out of your total OneDrive allowance.

  • Each card shows an icon for the service, a progress bar, and the used/total storage in a human-readable format (e.g. “2.4 GB / 24 GB”).

  • These widgets are for reference only — there is nothing to click or edit here.

2. View Data Activity Chart

Below the storage widgets on the left side you will find the Data Activity chart.

  • This is a stacked bar chart that shows how much data has been generated across four categories: Images, Media, Documents, and Other.

  • By default the chart shows the Week view.

  • To change the time range, click the dropdown button in the top-right corner of the chart card and select one of the available options:

Time Range

Labels Shown

  • Hover over any bar to see the exact data size for that category and time period.

  • Each category is color-coded: primary color for Images, red for Media, yellow for Documents, and grey for Other.

3. Browse Folders

Below the Data Activity chart you will see a Folders panel.

  • Folders are displayed in a horizontal scrollable row.

  • Each folder card shows:

Troubleshooting

“I cannot see the Storage Overview chart”

  • On small screens (mobile phones), the Storage Overview card moves to the top of the page instead of the right side.

  • Scroll to the top of the screen — you should find it there.

  • If it still does not appear, try refreshing the page.

“My uploaded file does not show up in Recent Files”

  • The Recent Files panel only displays the five most recent files.

  • If you uploaded a file but the list was already full, your file may not be visible here. Click View All to see every file in the full File Manager.

  • Also, files uploaded via the drag-and-drop box on the right side are stored locally in the current session. Make sure to complete the upload process.

“I tried to create a folder but nothing happened”

  • Make sure you actually typed a name into the Folder name field. The field cannot be empty.

  • After typing the name, click the Create button — do not just close the dialog.

  • If the dialog closed without creating the folder, open it again and try once more.

“The Data Activity chart is not showing any data”

  • Make sure you have selected the correct time range (Week, Month, or Year) from the dropdown at the top-right of the chart card.

  • If all bars are empty, it may mean there has been no file activity during the selected period.

  • Try switching to a different time range to see if data appears there.

  • If the problem persists, refresh the page — the chart data may not have loaded properly.

“I cannot drag and drop files into the upload area”

  • Make sure you are dragging the file directly from your computer’s file explorer onto the upload zone.

  • Some browsers may block drag-and-drop if certain security settings are enabled. Try clicking the upload area instead to use the file picker.

  • Ensure the file is not too large for your browser to handle. Very large files may cause the drop to fail silently.

“The three-dot menu on a folder or file does not open”

  • Click directly on the three-dot icon (⋮). Clicking next to it may open the file or folder details panel instead.

  • If the menu opens but immediately closes, try clicking more slowly and deliberately.

  • Refresh the page if the problem continues — it may be a temporary rendering issue.

  • Your browser needs permission to access the clipboard. If you see a browser popup asking for clipboard access, click Allow.

  • You should see a “Copied!” notification at the bottom of the screen when the link is successfully copied.

  • If the notification does not appear, try again or manually copy the link from the file or folder details panel.

“I do not see the Upgrade Plan card”

  • The Upgrade Plan card is located below the Storage Overview on the right side of the screen.

  • On mobile devices, you may need to scroll down past the folders and recent files sections to find it.

  • This card is informational — if your current plan has enough storage, you can safely ignore it.
