I see no categories in the dropdown

Problem

The Product category dropdown is empty.

Possible cause

Categories are loaded from the system when the page opens. If the list is empty, it is likely that no product categories have been created yet. It may also be caused by a temporary loading issue.

Solution

  1. Go to Product categories in the menu and create at least one category.

  2. Return to Create a new product and reload the page.

  3. Select the desired category from the dropdown.

If the problem persists, contact support and include details about:

  • Whether any categories have already been created in the system.

  • When the issue occurred.
