How to refresh and start over your website
Bookipi's AI Website Builder allows you to easily redo and refresh your existing website. Whether you're looking to update your design, reorganize your content, or completely overhaul your branding, you can transform your site with just a few clicks and make it seamlessly reflect your style.
Follow these simple steps to start over with your website.
Step 1: Click ‘Website’.
In the left-hand panel of the Bookipi Web app, click ‘Website’.
Step 2: Click ‘Edit’.
Move your mouse over your website overview, then click ‘Edit’ to start editing.
Alternatively, click the ellipsis button on the far right of the website name, then select ‘Edit’.
Step 3: Click the ellipsis button.
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Step 4: Select ‘Start over’.
Choose ‘Start over’ from the available options.
Step 5: Confirm to proceed.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click ‘Yes, I am sure’ to proceed with generating a new page.
Step 6: Enter your website details.
A new page will appear, prompting you to enter details about your website. Click ‘Next’ to move forward.
Input your business name, then click ‘Create Website for Free’.
The AI will generate a website tailored to your entered details.
Step 7: Customize your website.
Once generated, you can add pages and edit various sections, including Header, Intro, Services, Quotes, FAQ, and Other content sections.
Step 8: Publish your website.
Your changes are saved automatically. Click 'Publish' to launch your website.
Common FAQs about how to refresh and start over your website
Q: How can I delete my website?
A. Our app doesn’t currently offer a direct option to delete your website, but you do have two ways to start fresh:
Unpublish & Edit – You can simply unpublish your website and make any changes you need.
'Start over'—Click the ellipsis button at the top-right corner of your dashboard (next to ‘Publish’) and select ‘Start over'. This will use AI to completely regenerate your website’s content while keeping your connected domain active.
If you require a full deletion of your website, our support team is happy to assist. Just reach out to us at support@bookipi.com. Please note that once deleted, your website cannot be restored.
Q: Can I undo my website after clicking 'Start over'?
A: No, once you click 'Start over', your previous website cannot be restored. The regeneration process permanently replaces your existing content with a new AI-generated version. If you're unsure, we recommend saving any important content before proceeding.
