How to customise and purchase a domain in Bookipi AI Website Builder
If you’re subscribed to the Bookipi AI Website Builder Pro plan, you can customise your domain to create a professional look for your website. If you don't have a domain yet and want to obtain one, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Click ‘Website’.
Click ‘Website’ in the left-hand panel of Bookipi Web app.
Step 2: Click ‘Settings’.
Click on ‘Settings’ (the gear icon), which is the last icon in the sidebar.
Step 3: Select ‘Custom'.
Select the 'Custom’ option from the available choices.
Step 4: Click ‘Get a domain’.
Click ‘Get a domain’ just below your URL in the Customize domain section.
Step 5: Enter a domain name.
You will be directed to Ionos, our domain hosting partner. Simply enter your preferred domain name for your website in the provided field.
Step 6: Click ‘Check’.
Once you've entered your chosen domain name, click ‘Check’ to see if it's available.
Step 7: Purchase your domain name.
If your domain name is available, you'll be prompted to purchase and register it.
If your domain name is not available, you'll be given alternative suggestions or can try a different name.
After successfully registering and purchasing your domain, it will be added to your website builder and automatically linked to your website.
Step 8: Click ‘Save’ and ‘Publish’.
Save the changes you made, and click 'Publish' to launch your website.
You may now be able to view your website using your custom domain.

Your domain might still be linked to your previous website host or domain provider.
In this case, you'll need to log in to your account with your domain provider, where you purchased and registered your domain, and access your DNS settings. From there, delete the CNAME and A records. Once you've done that, contact us so we can reset your domain and help you reconnect it to your website.

Please check and verify your email to ensure your account runs smoothly.
You may not have paid for your domain, especially if you obtained it from Ionos through our app.
