How do I get paid via Pebble?
Our primary payment gateway is Stripe. This is a secure payment processing platform. We also have access to Klarna and PonchoPay, for childcare vouchers and tax free childcare payments. To learn more about these click here.
How do I create and link a stripe account?
To create a Stripe account you'll need to create an account here. Once that has been done, login to Pebble here > go to settings > select payments > select link payment details. You'll know your Stripe is linked once you can add an activity.
How long do payments take to arrive to my account?
We transfer the payment, with any deductions already made, from the Pebble account to your Stripe on the day the parent pays. These funds are then available to payout, less any refunds issued, after 3 working days. This is then paid out automatically from your Stripe account to your bank account according to your usual payout schedule (normally set to daily) - the time this step takes varies depending on your account status - see more information here.
Typically if you start a new Stripe account it will take up to 5 days to transfer, but this does reduce over time to quicker payours. Stripe don't share publicly how long this takes but there is a threshold that once you meet it means your payouts will reduce. Stripe will email you once you're eligible.
parent pays pebble for class > we await the payment to clear > hold on for up to 5 days to allow to clear and for any issues > send to provider on stripe > depending on payment schedule how long this takes to get to you
What does that look like?
Once the payment appear in your stripe account, you can click on the payment to see further information.
Can I see pending payments?
Yes you can see these by going to the supplier portal and exporting your payment!
Why did you choose this method?
We received feedback that providers liked to receive the final amount, and not have fees deducted later. This gave them security of what they had in their stripe account. What we send to Stripe from Pebble is what you'll receive in your bank. It also means that we can create
