What if I want to change the decision on an application?

This article is for property manager partners who need to undo or change a decision that has already been made on a BoomScreen rental application.

To change a decision on an application that has already been decisioned, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Boom Partner Platform and go to the Applications page.

  2. Click "All" in the status bar to display applications across all decision statuses.

  3. Search for the application whose decision you want to change.

  4. Click on the application to open it.

  5. Click "Undo decision."

  6. A prompt will appear asking whether you would like to "Notify applicant of this change via email." Select your preference before proceeding.

  7. Once the decision has been undone, the application will return to an un-decisioned status and can be reviewed and re-decisioned by your team.


If you opted to notify the applicants, they will receive this email:
