How do I cancel/refund an application?

Removing an applicant, co-applicant or guarantor from an application

In order to cancel an application, go to the "Applications" page in the Boom partner platform. Select the "All" status in the status bar and search for the applicant using their name or email address.

Once the applicant is found, please click on the application to view the applicant information. If the applicant is applying on their own, please click the ellipses in the top right hand corner of the application page and select "Cancel application".

Once "Cancel application" has been selected, you will be prompted to "Request refund" (optional) and/or cancel the application. After cancelling the application, the status of the applicant will be updated to "Canceled".


For Refund Only (no cancellation needed) - you may select "Refund Application"


You may enter the amount to refund if you opt to give Partial Refund

You may print a receipt if you wish to send a copy to the applicant.
Note: Boom sends this automatically after processing.
