When Should You Split an Application?
You may want to split an application when:
An applicant has withdrawn from a group and needs their own standalone application.
You need to make a separate leasing decision for one or more individuals on a joint application.
How to Split an Application
Step 1: Go to the Applications page in the Boom Partner Platform and search for the application you want to split.
Step 2: Open the application.
Step 3: Click the three dots (β―) in the upper right corner.
Step 4: Select "Split application."
Step 5: Choose the applicant you would like to move to a new application.
Note: At least one applicant must remain on the original application.
Step 6: Click "Continue" to proceed, then click "Split application" to complete the split!
What Happens After You Split an Application?
A new application is created for the moved applicant(s) and can be managed independently.
The original application remains active with the remaining applicants and retains its existing screening data and status.
Screening reports already completed for the moved applicant(s) will carry over β they will not need to re-submit their information.
Both applications can be reviewed and decisioned independently.
