If an applicant applies to a unit / site that is no longer available, you can easily transfer the application to a different community or unit / site based on availability in just a few clicks. The application must not be decisioned to make this change. It must be in a submitted, in progress, or invited status.
Note: Depending on your property setup, this field may appear as either “unit” or “site.”
Follow these steps to move an application to a different community or unit / site:
1. Navigate to the application you want to move to a different site by selecting it from the Applications page
2. Click the ellipsis (three dots) within the application
The ellipsis menu appears in the top-right corner of the application overview page
3. Select "Move to another site" from the dropdown menu
A pop-up window will appear
Begin typing the community name or scroll through the list to find it
5. Select the appropriate Site/Unit from the available options
Once you've chosen the community, the site/unit dropdown will populate with available options
6. Enter or confirm the correct rent amount for the new site
Make sure the rent amount reflects the pricing for the new location
7. Review the details to ensure everything is accurate
Double-check the community, site/unit, and rent amount before proceeding
8. Click Save to complete the move
The application will now be associated with the new site, and all reporting and screening data will reflect this change.
