If an applicant's identity verification details need to be corrected or updated after submission, you can make changes directly in the Partner Portal.
When you might need to update ID verification details:
The applicant entered an incorrect date of birth
There's a typo in the applicant's name
The applicant's address needs to be corrected
SSN information requires updating
How to Update Identity Verification Details
1. Open the applicant's application
2. Navigate to the ID Verification tab
Once the application is open, locate and click on the ID Verification tab in the application.
3. Click Edit under Basic Information
In the ID Verification section, find the Basic Information area and click the Edit button.
4. Update the necessary details
Modify any fields that need correction, such as:
Full legal name
Date of birth
Social Security Number
Current address
5. Select Save Changes to apply the updates
Once you've made all necessary corrections, click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.
Note: Changes to identity verification details may require the screening report to be regenerated. If the application has already been processed, contact Boom support to determine if re-screening is necessary.
The updated information will be reflected immediately in the application and used for any future screening processes.
