How to Set Up Per-Property Billing

Per-property billing allows you to assign a separate bank account to each property in your portfolio for both payouts and charges. To set up per-property billing:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Billing β†’ Billing configuration.

  2. Select "Per property" as your billing type.

  3. A list of all your properties and their corresponding bank accounts will appear on the Billing configuration page.

  4. Select a default bank account to apply across your portfolio, and/or select an individual bank account for specific properties as needed.

    • The selected bank account for each property will be used for both payouts and charges for that property.

How to Connect a New Bank Account

If you need to add a bank account that is not already connected to BoomScreen, you can do so directly from the Billing configuration page:

  1. Click the bank account selection dropdown next to the relevant property.

  2. Select the option to add a new bank account.

  3. Follow the prompts to securely connect your new bank account via Plaid (a third-party bank account verification service).

Once connected, the new bank account will be available to assign to any property in your portfolio.

Frequently Asked Questions About Property-Level Billing

What happens if I switch my billing type in the middle of a billing cycle?

If you switch your billing type mid-cycle, all pending billing activities will be updated to reflect the new billing type. The change applies to any activity that has not yet been processed at the time of the switch.

How will I be billed if multiple properties are using the same bank account?

If multiple properties share the same bank account, each property will still generate its own individual statement. For payouts, each property will produce a separate payout in your bank account β€” one per property β€” even if they all share the same bank account.
