What is Re-run report?
Re-run report is a feature on the Income History section of an application that lets you reset an applicant's income verification and have them redo it. Using Re-run report clears the applicant's previously verified income results and prompts them to resubmit their income information for a fresh verification.
When to use Re-run report
Re-run report is best used on already-submitted applications where the applicant's income needs to be corrected or updated. Common situations include:
The applicant initially declared no income (for example, a retiree, homemaker, or student) and now needs to declare income.
The applicant needs to add an additional income source, such as a second job.
Re-run report is a newly released feature, so its behavior may continue to evolve.
How to use Re-run report
To reset the Income History section on an application, follow these steps:
Open the application and go to the Income history tab.
2. Once income verification is complete on the application, click Re-run report to reset the section. This clears the verified figures — verified gross monthly income, verified net monthly income, debt-to-income ratio, and income sources — and prompts the applicant to resubmit their income for verification.
Does Re-run report cost anything?
Yes, using Re-run report can incur a cost on your account, because it pulls a completely new report from the income verification source rather than reusing the existing one. Re-run report is billed the same way as your account's initial income verifications, based on your contract's screening pricing. You can confirm the exact pricing for your account in your screening settings under Income History.
Will the applicant be notified?
Yes, the applicant is notified automatically when Re-run report is used. They receive a notification Email and SMS with a link that lets them reverify their income.
Can the income verification be cancelled after it's reset?
Yes, a reset income verification can be cancelled. If you cancel it, the applicant's original income data is restored. If it isn't cancelled, the applicant's original income data is archived once Re-run report has been used.
