Link accounts in the CRM

Option 1

If you have two people in your database that should be linked together as a couple, it's pretty easy to do that.

  1. Navigate to one of the profiles.

  2. From the "Name and DOB" section, find the field that says "Spouse".

  3. Go ahead and start typing in the name of the other person and select them from the dropdown.

  4. Click "Update".

Option 2

If you have one profile already established in your CRM and want to create a new one, say for the husband or wife, just click the + button next to the spouse field. This will create a new profile that is automatically linked to this one.

Now, these two people are linked in the system. This means that you can view both persons' contact info from either profile.

After linking, it is advisable to review the contact info like phone numbers, email addresses, and addresses to ensure the proper "Owners" are set for those items.
