Plan details house all kinds of information. Here is what you need to know:
The plan details tab will show you Costs, Benefits, Preferences, and Optional Add-on Coverage (available to be added once the plan is in the cart). One of the most critical aspects of the Benefits section of the plan details tab is the Plan Documents at the bottom of the Benefits section. This is where you can find important documents related to the plan, such as Summary of Benefits and Evidence of Coverage.
NOTE: These documents are automatically attached to the enrollment confirmation email sent to the consumer after submitting an enrollment.
The prescriptions tab will tell you whether a prescription is covered by the plan and what each medication will cost at each stage.
The last tab is arguably the most important: the total estimated cost tab. This tab provides everything you need to help a consumer make the right decision. The most important section on this tab is the "Total Estimate Cost" section at the top, which will total up all of the consumer's prescription costs for the year. Under that will be a cost schedule for each month, where you can see what each prescription will cost when being refiled.
The costs are based on the primary pharmacy but can be changed on the right-hand side of the screen under the "Costs are based on" tabs.
