Follow this process to add your reader to your school to begin using the Bound Gate and Payment App
In your school Bound Account, click on the business area:
Click on the "Stripe" section under the business area:
Click on the lightning bolt icon by the Stripe account named Bound Stripe Account (Connected) to enter the reader area:
Assuming this is the first time you are pairing a new reader, turn on the reader follow the instructions on the display until the reader shows a pairing/registration code. The code is 3 words separated by a - . (Ex. one - two - three).
NOTE: If you need to re-pair a reader instructions can be found below.
In your Bound Account on the Stripe reader page click on the "Manage Terminal Button" and select "Add Reader" on the top right part of the screen.
Type in a unique name for your reader. Typically something like your school name and a number for the reader (Example: Allison S700-1). IMPORTANT: Select the location that ends in the words "Gate App". If you do not see that location please contact your Bound Director, or Bound Support by using the Green Chat Button. Then enter the 3 word pairing/registration code that is displayed on the reader and save.
After this step is completed, the Bound Gate and Payments app should automatically load on your machine.

Re-pairing a reader
If your reader goes to the Bound Screen and is not loading the Gate and Payment App, you will need to re-add your reader by going to the settings screen on the device. To do this swipe across the screen from the left side of the device. Click on settings, then enter the PIN 0-7-1-3-9. Then select "generate pairing code".
If your reader is on the Gate App, in your school event list page, go to the top right corner and click the gear icon. Then add the code 0-7-1-3-9 and select generate pairing code like the images show in step 1.
Refer back to the beginning of this article for instructions on how to re-add your reader to the Bound system to load the Gate and Payment app.
