Officials need to register for each sport they're officiating. Registration is completed by sport and season; for example, registering for 2026-27 Girls Varsity Soccer lets you officiate an event tied to that sport, during that season.
Official registration typically requires an up-front fee, but this amount will vary heavily depending on the assignor. The assignor, your association or school[CONFIRM], sets the registration fee.
NOTE: Registration looks a little different depending on which association you're signing up with. For example, one association may require age verification to complete registration, others may not. You'll work through a series of steps, but the exact steps and their order depend on your association. If you have questions regarding any specific registration requirements, please contact the association you're registering with.
Register for a Sport/Activity
In your Official dashboard, click Register.
Under the current school year, you'll see a list of open registrations.
Officials living near/on state lines tend to officiate in multiple states. If you are one of these officials, you'll need to select the Reciprocity registration.
Find the right registration, then click the green arrow next to it.
Registration details will vary between associations. Common requirements include but are not limited to: a registration fee, proof of identity, criminal history, a profile photo, age verification, etc.
Select the sport you're registering for under Options.
Once your sport(s) are selected, click Continue to add the registration to your cart.
Keep in mind that Official Registration will vary from association to association. The following section outlines a general procedure for registration, but the order in which you complete these steps will likely differ.
