Setting Up Your Official Wallet

Setting Up Your Wallet

Before you can get paid for your officiating, you'll need to set up your Wallet.

Bound partners with Stripe to ensure bank accounts are linked securely. While setting up your wallet, you will need to login to or create a Stripe account. If you do not already have a Stripe account, we recommend you create one before setting up your Bound wallet.

Note: You may pause or leave the Wallet Setup, and continue at any time. If you have not completed your Wallet Setup, a message will appear on your dashboard, telling you to complete 'Onboarding':

  1. In the official dashboard, click Pay.

  2. Click Setup My Wallet.

  3. A pop-up will appear prompting you to add a bank account. Click Add Information.

  4. Another pop-up will open, redirecting you to login to Stripe. Enter your email address. If you already have a Stripe account, use that email. Click Continue.

  5. Enter your Phone Number.

  6. Verify your Phone Number and Email were entered correctly, then Click Submit.

  7. You will receive an SMS verification code from Stripe.

  8. Once you enter the code, the page will automatically direct you to the next step.

  9. After the Stripe pop-up disappears, you will be directed back to the Setup My Wallet pop-up. Verify your personal information.

  10. You are required to input the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to proceed.

  11. Once you've verified your information and entered the last 4 of your SSN, click Continue.

  12. You will need to verify your information again, this time entering your full 9-digit Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. Bound must collect this information to verify your identity and meet our regulatory obligations.

  13. After you've verified your information and entered your SSN/ITIN, click Continue. Next, you will be prompted to add a bank account. This account is where you will receive earnings for your officiating.

Most major banks will direct you through setup, usually via a pop-up that will prompt you to sign in to your online banking account. If you want to do this step manually, e.g. enter your account and routing number yourself, click Enter bank details manually instead.

  14. After either following the prompts from your bank or entering an account manually, Stripe will confirm that the accounts are connected, like this:

  15. Select the account you want to use to receive payments, then click Continue.

  16. Review your information and review the disclosures. If everything is accurate, click Agree and Submit.

    Your wallet is now setup.

To edit or remove a bank account, go to Pay > Account.
