Events and the competitions within can be cancelled or rescheduled, with optional notifications sent out to communicate the changes.
You can cancel an entire event at once, or you can cancel certain competitions within an event while keeping others active. The same steps can be followed for non-competition events.

If you don't want to cancel or postpone an event and just need to delete one (duplicate, accidental event creation), jump to Delete an event or competitions.
Cancel event competitions
Event cancellations & postponements are not saved until you click Save Event Schedule Changes. Cancelled competitions will not be rescheduled. Jump to postponing competitions.
In the school dashboard, go to Events.
Click the calendar button on the event you want to cancel, then click Reschedule from the dropdown.
The Event Status window will open, giving you the options to Postpone, Cancel, or keep the event Active.
Select Cancelled to set every competition in the event to be cancelled without rescheduling. If there are competitions that you want to keep active while cancelling the others, you can set each one back to Active as needed.
Select one of the default 'Reason for Changes' buttons (Time Change, Location Change etc.) or enter details as needed. A reason is required.
Choose whether to notify of the cancellation. Opponent schools are notified of changes by default unless you check Don't send notification.
Review, then click Save Event Schedule Changes to cancel the selected events.
Postpone event competitions
In Events, click the calendar button on the event you want to postpone, then click Reschedule from the dropdown.
Click Postponed.
Postponed competitions may not have a new date & time yet. You can select whether this new information has been determined or if it is TBD by selecting from the dropdown:
If known, enter the new date & time after selecting 'Postponed - New/Date/Time/Location Known.'
Select a Sub Status.
Enter the (required) Reason for Changes.
Choose whether to notify of the postponement. Opponent schools are notified of changes by default unless you check Don't send notification.
Review, then click Save Event Schedule Changes to postpone the selected events.
Delete an event or competitions
You have the ability to delete individual competitions within an event, or the entire event.
Note: Events with ticketing set up cannot be deleted unless no tickets have been sold. If no tickets have been sold, you must select 'None' under ticketing options to delete an event. If you're deleting an event where ticketing has been set up and used, please reach out to your Bound contact for further assistance.
Delete an event
Deleting an event also deletes all competitions/non-competitions in the event.
In Events, click the gear icon on the event you wish to delete, then select Settings from the dropdown.
A separate tab will open. Under Event Details, click Delete.
A confirmation dialogue will appear, asking you to review the details and ensure you want to delete the event and all associated competitions/non-competitions. Confirm, then click Delete Event.
The process may take several seconds. When completed, you will be redirected to the Events page. A confirmation dialogue will appear noting the event was 'Deleted successfully.'
Delete competitions
In Events, click the 3-dot menu next to the competition you wish to delete.
Click Delete Competition from the dropdown.
A separate tab will open. Enter a reason for deletion. This is required.
