Production Workflow Improvements
Improved production workflows with three key enhancements: operators can now generate batch numbers during production; production movements support configurable batch formulas and automatic inheritance of traceability attributes from the production order batch; and Workstation provides a dedicated fixed-weight flow, enabling label printing without mandatory weighing while correctly calculating declared weight, tare, packaging counters, and optional giveaway.
🆕 Improvements & New Functionalities
🌐 Web Application
Generate batch numbers with inherited production order attributes
Production users can now generate batch numbers directly while producing products. Generated batches can automatically inherit the configured traceability attributes from the production order batch—including expiration date, source country, deboning country, and other relevant product-class attributes—reducing manual steps and ensuring consistent batch information throughout production.
📱 Mobile
Batch generation during production
Production workflows now allow operators to generate product batch numbers while producing. When a production movement is confirmed, the system applies the appropriate configured formula, validates the required inherited attributes, and automatically creates the batch with the relevant information from the production order batch.
💻 Tablet
Fixed-weight production workflow
Workstation now provides a faster flow for fixed-weight products, allowing operators to print labels and create production records without mandatory weighing. Declared net weight is calculated from quantity and nominal unit weight, while gross weight includes the applicable tare. Operators can optionally capture actual weight and giveaway for traceability without blocking printing. The flow also supports bulk label generation for fixed weight products.
🪩 Back-Office
Configurable batch generation and attribute inheritance
Product batch definitions can now support multiple generation formulas according to document type or document group. Configurators can define the relevant attributes for each product class and determine their source, including inheritance from the parent production order batch. This ensures generated batches preserve critical traceability information such as expiration date, source country, deboning country, and other configured attributes.
