Using filters allows you to retrieve just the content you need, when you need it, and is a core part of working within BrandKeep. Understanding how filtering works is an important step when determining how to classify brands and assets with workspaces, categories, and tags - since these are the options used to filter content within BrandKeep.

Here are some examples of how filtering can assist your team's workflow in BrandKeep:

  • Buyers can view just their order forms for the next season by filtering workspace and category. For example, your order forms for an upcoming season have a workspace of "Fall 2024", and a category of "Order Forms". When it's time to place those orders, use the filter to call up every brand's Fall 2024 order forms.

  • Marketers can immediately retrieve marketing assets for a brand when they needed to be posted on your social accounts. For example, filtering by brand (Acme), category (Social Media), and workspace (whatever the current season is) will return just the social media assets for Acme that are needed right now.

  • Accounting or finance users can view just the due invoices for all brands when they need to be paid. For example, invoices are all in a category called "Invoices" and each invoice is within a workspace identified by season. So when a teammate needs to find those invoices from last season that are due now, they just filter by category (Invoices) and workspace (whatever the last season was).
