1°) Is Breackold safe?

0 users got banned out of 10000+ using it, it has been designed not to be a LinkedIn automation tool that get you banned (we're not a LI automation tool).

We have customers where their sole business runs with LinkedIn, so LinkedIn safety is paramount for us. Hence why we're not adding LinkedIn

IMPORTANT:

If you use LinkedIn automation softwares on the side, it does increase chances to get your account restricted as if you do lots of non humanly possible actions day by day, your account is restricted.

That's why even some LinkedIn influencers got restricted even though they were not using any tools at all but were just crazy engaging from 8 am to 8 pm 7 days a week

On a final note on this, make sure when you/if you used a LinkedIn automation tool in the past to log out and log in back into Breakcold so they won't be able to use your session cookies for their other users.

IMPORTANT 2:

LinkedIn safety is also about pure logic.

Example:
- you send automated LinkedIn invites via an automation tool

- and at the same time,
- you send manual messages using Breakcold's inbox

For LinkedIn, it's simply not HUMANLY possible for this to happen. So if you're using multiple tools at once. Don't be silly and allow specific time range for your automation to run so that it doesn't overlap with your manual actions from yourself, sales rep or virtual assistant at the same time.

HOW TO PREVENT GETTING FLAGGED:
- don't open too many LinkedIn tabs
- if you were not doing many LI actions before, don't suddenly be mega active
- paying for LinkedIn Sales Navigator (it reduces extremely any risk) as it shows LinkedIn you're using the platform in a professional way
- acting like a human: don't accept LinkedIn invites to quickly, don't go profile to profile like a robot with the same pattern

2°) Why do you use a credentials connection method? Why no OAuth?

We use the credentials method because it's the one that is the most secure and stable compare to what one may think.

This connection method avoids many desynchronizations of your account.

About the OAuth, we don't use this connection method because the permissions are very limited in there so basically you won't be able to use any LinkedIn features with it.

3°) How to handle different IP addresses?

When it comes to LinkedIn safety, most people think that having multiple IP addresses will get you banned. This narrative has been pushed a lot by LinkedIn automation software for marketing but in reality, it's false, it's more subtle than that.

Basically, as least when it comes to Breakcold, there are no risks because IF the person that connects he's in Texas for example, the account will be connected in the Texas IP. If someone uses this account from another country, the interactions are still reputed from the Texas IP address.

But even if you have different IP addresses on the same account, LinkedIn will not ban you because of that. They actually don't care that much about different IPs because most people have different ones as they travel over time. So having multiple IP addresses is not in itself a problem, the problem is to have MANY active different IP addresses which can occur if you're using multiple LinkedIn related tools at once.

From research & tests, we never found a correlation between ban and different IPs, the problem was more link to the fact that tools were used at the same time which caused non human potential actions in the eyes of LinkedIn.

If you are still not confident about the issue of IP different IP addresses, you can use custom proxies (click here to read our tutorial).
