This article outlines how Learning Programs work, how they can be customized, and the key features that help both administrators and learners manage and track progress effectively.
What is a Learning Program?
A Learning Program in Bridge is a customizable assignment made up of one or more courses that you choose. It helps organize and deliver education to athletes and coaches.
How to Use a Learning Program:
Learning Programs can be assigned to athletes and coaches, who can complete them on the Bridge web platform or mobile app. These programs are how to access courses within Bridge's standard Learning Library, covering various topics like Mental Health, Nutrition, DEIB, etc.
You can design Learning Programs based on:
Topic (e.g., Mental Health, Nutrition)
Group (e.g., coaches, athletes, specific teams)
Class year (e.g., sophomores, seniors)
Year-long curriculum, and more.
Key Features:
For Admins/Coaches:
Learning Programs can be created in the "Learning Library" module.
There is no limit to the number of programs you can create.
Admins/coaches can only assign programs for their assigned teams.
Programs can be assigned manually or joined through a QR code/link for self-enrollment.
Completion progress is tracked by individual courses and data can be exported to a CSV.
For Athletes/Learners:
On the web, programs can be completed via the "Today" section or from the "Schedule" dropdown on the calendar
On the mobile app, programs can be completed from the home screen under "Today".
Programs are available from the start date and remain accessible after the end date.
Learners can complete courses in any order. Progress is saved, so they can pick up where they left off.
Courses within a program can be reviewed after completion.
This streamlined approach to Learning Programs enhances flexibility, tracking, and accessibility for both admins and learners.
