How to Edit Exercise Details

Update exercise details directly from your library, or open an exercise for more detailed edits.

Written by Lauren Johnson

The Exercise Library lets you manage your exercises without interrupting your workflow. You can update the most common fields right from the library view, or open an exercise when you need to make more detailed changes like adding a photo or description.

Editing From the Table

The Exercise Library is your main workspace for keeping exercises up to date.

Here's what you can do directly from library tab:

1. Change the Exercise Name

  • Click on any exercise name to edit it. Type the new name and press Enter to save, or Escape to cancel.

2. Upload a Video

  • In the Video column, click Add URL to paste a YouTube or Vimeo link, or click Upload Video to select a file from your computer.

  • If the exercise already has a video, hover over and click the Trash icon. You can then upload a new video.

3. Add Equipment

  • Equipment displays labels. Click + Add to add your first piece of equipment, or hover over existing label and click [+] to add more.

  • To remove equipment, hover over a chip and click the X.

4. Add Tags

  • Tags work the same way as equipment: add with + Add or [+], remove by hovering and clicking X.

5. Set Reps/Weight Parameter

  • Click on the Reps/Weight column to open a dropdown and select the parameter type (e.g., Reps: Each, Reps: Total).

All changes save automatically.

Opening an Exercise for Detailed Edits

Some edits are better handled from the exercise detail view.

Click into an exercise to:

  • Add or update a photo or still image

  • Write or edit the exercise description

  • Review or change default parameters in full
