How to Remove an Athlete From a Team

Steps for coaches to manage their athletes from two places: the Team Page and the Member's Module.

You can remove athletes from a team through the Team page or the Members module.

Removing an Athlete From the Team Page

To remove an athlete from a team:

  1. Navigate to your Team page

  2. Click on Roster

  3. Toggle to Basic Information

  4. Hover over the athlete you want to remove

  5. Click Remove.

  6. Confirm that the athletes' current programs will be marked as complete.

  7. Next, confirm whether or not you want to deactivate this user from the entire organization.

If you select Yes, then the athlete(s) will be moved to the Deactivated folder in the Members module.

Bridge Tip: Deactivated athletes are no longer active, will not appear on team pages, and will not count toward your user totals.

Removing an Athlete From the Members Module

You can also remove athletes from teams directly in the Members module. To edit an athlete's team assignment from the Members module, see How to Edit an Athlete's Team.

Bridge Tip: If you're on a Platinum account, you can transfer assigned programs when moving athletes between teams. Learn more about bulk transferring athletes and their assigned programs.

Reactivating a Deactivated Athlete

Admins can reactivate athletes at any time:

  1. Navigate to the Members module

  2. Select the Deactivated tab

  3. Hover over the athlete you want to reactivate

  4. Click Reactivate

The athlete will be restored and can be reassigned to a team.
