Ways to Take Down Athlete Notes

Tracking athlete performance and communication is essential for effective coaching. Our platform provides multiple ways for coaches to document and review notes on athletes. Below are the primary methods for recording and accessing notes.

From the Messenger

Messages: Notes and communication exchanged between athletes and all coaches assigned to the team.

Coach’s Room: A dedicated module for messaging and note-sharing among coaches on one team.

Athlete Notes: Notes saved privately, visible only to the coach who recorded them. Athlete notes will remain tied to the coach login under which they were initially recorded.

Admins have complete access to the Messages and Notes section, except for the Athlete Notes.

On the Web

The Coach’s Room is the best place for coaches to communicate about athlete performance and share relevant notes.

Changing the athlete status is a great place to add notes when visibility across all teams in the organization is needed (e.g., communication between Strength & Conditioning and Sports Medicine staff).

Taking Notes on Tablet and Phone Apps

Athlete notes can be recorded using both the tablet and mobile apps.

To access this feature, navigate through the bottom menu bar.

Suggested Workflow for Note-Taking

  1. Use Athlete Notes for personal coaching observations.

  2. Share insights with other coaches via the Coach’s Room.

  3. For organization-wide visibility, update the Athlete Status with relevant notes. More details here.
