This article highlights the two ways to assign training: via the calendar and via the playlist. The main difference between these two delivery options is that one uses scheduled dates on a calendar and the other uses a dateless way to assign training.
Calendar Programs
Calendars are a great way to assign training to athletes with scheduled workout times and days. They are also a good tool for coaches to keep track of attendance and compliance.
First, you will want to assign the training program to your selected teams and individuals. Once you have created the program in your workout library you can assign the program as a calendar by clicking Assign Training.
Next, you will assign the program to the selected athletes and coaches.
You will need to choose and set the training days for your calendar program as well as the week you'd like the training to begin.
Please note that you can also adjust the workout dates on the calendar by dragging and dropping them.
Playlist Programs
Assigning programs as a playlist is the perfect way to assign training to athletes who need more flexibility in their training schedules. Once assigned, the workouts appear as a list and can be completed as the athlete's schedule allows.
First, you will need to assign the training using the same steps as for the calendar view. Click Assign Training and select the athletes and coaches.
Choose "Workout as Playlist" for this option, then select Next.
Once the program has been assigned you can view the workouts on the athlete profile page by clicking "View Workout"--this will display a list of all workouts.
