Videos can now be uploaded directly from Youtube to exercises or on the block level!

This has been a highly requested feature that we hope helps simplify and improve our coach's and athletes' experience training with Bridge.

Adding Youtube Videos to Exercises

Youtube videos can be added to exercises in two different ways, by adding a new exercise or adding a video to an existing exercise in your Bridge library.

  1. Adding a new exercise directly from Youtube.

When creating a new exercise you will be able to select "Import from Youtube" and upload a link. The video and name will automatically pull into Bridge. The name of the exercise can be edited and you can set customization such as parameters and notes. Once saved, the exercise can be found in your exercise library.

Check out the video below to see the whole process

2. Uploading a Youtube video to an existing exercise

Youtube videos can be added directly to exercises in place of current videos or to exercises with no media.

To do this, select an exercise in the exercise library and scroll to the bottom of the page. In the media section, you can select to upload a video directly from Youtube.

Adding Youtube Videos to Blocks

The other place Youtube videos can be added is on the block level. These videos can be used as educational content for athletes to watch before completing the block or follow-along videos, for example.

To do this, simply click on the three dots at the top of a block, choose "Add Media" and select "Import from Youtube".

All videos added from Youtube will play in-app without any ads.
