With the launch of the Bridge x FMS partnership, an advancement to our reporting for FMS correctives is now included for all packages. All the content and correctives are created by the FMS team and integrated into the Bridge platform.
This report shows a Protect & Correct section with movements the athlete should avoid based on movements they failed or had pain while performing. This report also shows a Develop section that are movement patterns that an athlete can train without restrictions.
Now, let's dive a little deeper into this feature!
Getting Started
The first step to being able to access these reports is to fill in the FMS form in Bridge. This can be done on the web, through our tablet app, and on the athlete's mobile app.
As soon as the FMS form is complete, the report immediately is generated.
Viewing the Report
To access the report, navigate to either a team page or athlete profile. Next, select the FMS form in the Assessment Module. Based on where you select the form, there are a couple of views. We will go through these below.
From the Team Page:
If you select the FMS report on the team page, it will open an overview of all the data submissions for each athlete.
If you hover over any data point, it will show the results for both sides and if there was pain or no pain.
On the screen, data can be edited or deleted. To do this, simply select the three dots on the far right and then choose how to update the data on the drop-down.
If you select any athlete on this graph, it will take you directly to the athlete's full report with movement pattern suggestions. Learn more about this view below.
From the Athlete's Page
On this view, there are two different tabs. An FMS report and FMS data.
FMS Report
This is the athlete's individual report with their combined scores, total FMS scores, and movement patterns an athlete needs to protect and ones that can be performed with no restriction.
The first section of the report shows the combined score, if "show detailed scores", is clicked it expands the view to show all the results entered.

Expanded view:
Scrolling down the report is the protect & correct section and the develop section.
The Protect & Correct section shows the movement patterns an athlete needs to protect or avoid. These are generated based on if an athlete scores and 1 or 0 or if pain was detected when completing the movement.
In each section, there are different movement patterns the athlete should avoid and corrective exercises that will help this specific movement pattern. For example, in the report below an athlete experience pain during the Ankle Clearing of the Inline lunge.
The report generated an Ankle Mobility section with correctives such as Foam Roller - Calf Muscle and Open Half Kneeling Ankle Mobility with KB. Additionally, the report instructs the coach to not prescribe this athlete lunges and split squat patterns.
The develop section shows movement patterns that an athlete can perform based on movements they passed.
FMS Data
At the top of the report, you can toggle over to the FMS data tab.
This view shows all the data points entered for all FMS tests for this athlete. Below the data table, different movements are charted to display progress.
We hope you find this report beneficial in helping your athlete's progress and continue to improve safely.
