Using the switch exercise functionality, exercise prescriptions and parameters can be updated while keeping the exercise the same. This is an efficient way to make mass changes to a program without the need to make individual edits.

Let's dive into how to do this!

  1. To begin, select the switch icon on the exercise level. This can be done by hovering over the exercise in the builder or clicking on it (see below).

Selecting "switch" from the block overview

Selecting "switch" from the selected exercise

2. Next, search for the same exercise. In this example, we're updating the prescriptions for Split Squat - Dumbbell so we will search for Split Squat - Dumbbell in this pop-up.

3. Make any adjustments to the parameters, prescriptions, sets, and notes. Here we are changing the weight prescription from an absolute weight to %difficulty, adjusting the reps, and adding 2 more sets.

4. Lastly, choose if this update should be applied to this instance, day, week, phase, or program.

5. When all the information is ready, click yes to make the update.

6. The prescriptions for this exercise will now be updated across the instance chosen.

We hope this powers you to build efficiently! For an overview of switching both exercises and prescriptions click here
