The activity report is a great tool to view workout data at a glance. One of the important sets you can view in the activity report is Exercises Switches. We will go through how and where you can view this information below.

Where:

The activity report is available on both the team and athlete pages. Click in to the report to see it in full and have the ability to look more closely at sets.

How to see switches:

You will see a section within the activity report labeled Exercise Switches. This is where all switches made for a given date will appear. To narrow down the data shown in the report, you can use the filters at the top.

For all switches, the prescribed exercise will be displayed crossed out and the new exercise will appear to the right.

The type of switch will also be listed. The different switch types are alternative, progression, regression, athlete switch, and coach switch. We break these down further below.

By clicking the paper icon you can view the workout the switch is associated with or hover over the i icon for the program and phase name.

Understanding the Switch Types:

  • Alternative, Progression, and Regression: These are all designated by the coach when programming using our alternative exercise feature. Athletes are shown an alternative is available and can choose to switch.

  • Athlete Switch: This is a switch made, not through an alternative, during a workout when an athlete is logged in on the phone or tablet app.

  • Coach Switch: This is a switch made, not through an alternative, during a workout when a coach or admin is logged in. For example, when a workout is being completed in Weight Room Mode.
