Our Share/Cast feature creates a web version of a workout that can be shared via a link or cast to another screen. This is a great tool to use in the gym to display a workout on a TV or as a way to share a sample workout with an athlete. We go through the steps of how to do this below.

Note: You cannot cast from within the Bridge platform or app.

The link generated will open a new tab or window and you will cast that window. This is the same for web and our tablet/mobile apps.

This is a two-step process.

First, you will create a link for this workout from the web platform or tablet.

  • This link will open the workout on a new tab on a web browser.

Second, you can cast the workout from the web browser or share the link directly with athletes.

This quick video walks through the steps:

Follow along step by step below:

Creating a shareable link from a computer:

To begin, first choose the workout you want to cast. This can be from an athlete's calendar or the program calendar in the builder.

Select the workout and click Share/Cast

Next, create a link. Note, this link is only valid for 7 days. After 7 days you will need to generate a new link to this workout.

Open this link in a new tab/window or share this link directly with athletes or on your website as a sample program.

Once the workout is open, you can select videos to have them play while going through the workout. To switch exercise videos, simply click another video icon.

Use the tools at the bottom of the screen to turn on notes for the workout, or auto-play. Auto-play will automatically rotate the workout to the next pages. You can set the cadence under the "settings" icon.

If casting, select the top right corner of your browser, click on Share and select Cast.

Important notes on editing:

If you update a workout after the link as been shared, the link will automatically update to reflect these changes. However, if the workout is being cast during the edit, the page will need to be refreshed to see this change.
