Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), is a security measure that requires users to verify their identity using multiple credentials before gaining access to a system or account.
Enabling this additional layer of security is available to do in BridgeAthletic. This can be enforced for an entire organization or members can choose to set this up on their own.
How this works:
When logging in to Bridge, users may see the below screen indicating they need to set up MFA for their account before being able to log in.
To set up MFA a user can select to either receive a unique one-time code (OTP) via email or get a verification code using an authenticator app Google Authenticator or Salesforce Authenticator.
After entering the code received via email or through the authenticator app MFA will be enabled for the account. Moving forward, users will need to enter a code using one of these two methods along with their password to log in.
