What does 'scheduled' mean for a client payment?

A payment is set to automatically run on a future date.

Scheduled means an automatic card or ACH payment has been set to run on a future date. This status is only used for automated payment methods.

This is a Transaction Status, which reflects the progress of an individual payment attempt. It is different from the Booking Payment Status, which reflects whether the overall booking is fully paid, partially paid, or unpaid.

Payment Scheduled is a separate booking payment status with a similar name. It describes the whole booking rather than one payment.

Details:

  • Applies only to automatic payments (not manual methods like checks or cash).

  • Common when a client pays a deposit upfront and the remaining balance is set to auto-charge later.

  • These payments process automatically—no manual action required.

  • You can find and filter Scheduled payments in the Payments tab.
