Viewing a trip in the guide app

See outfitter and guide contacts, client spots, experience type, notes, and quick tools for reports and client management in each trip.

When guides click into a trip from the Calendar or the Trips tab, they can see all the details needed to guide successfully.

Outfitter
Guides can see which outfitter the trip is for. To reach the outfitter, tap Info next to the outfitter's name. The Contact Outfitter pop-up shows the outfitter's email and phone number.

Client Spots
Guides can see if spots are still open. If so, a red alert prompts them to add clients before the trip begins. See Adding Clients to Trips as a Guide.

Trip Details
Guides can view the river, experience type (float or wade), the total number of clients on the trip, and any Trip notes from outfitter.

Guides
The Guides section lists everyone assigned to the trip. The first guide appears under Lead Guide and the next under Additional Guide. To get a coworker's phone number or email, tap Info on their card.

Guides can only see another guide's contact info on trips they're both assigned to. The team calendar shows other guides' names and trips, but not their phone or email. To reach a guide who isn't on one of their trips, guides can contact the outfitter: tap Info in the Outfitter section.

Client Notes
Guides can view any special notes clients left for them and the outfitter.

Meetup Location & Time
Guides can confirm the meetup time and location. Depending on outfitter settings, they may also edit the time or select from preset locations. See Managing meetup location & time in the guide app.

Tasks
Guides can complete required tasks here, such as submitting their guide report after the trip. See How to start and submit a guide report in the Guide App.

At the bottom of the trip view, guides can:

  • Submit Report / View Report (depending on status).

  • Add Client (to the left).
