Brindlechute makes it easy to track river section usage directly from the Trip Calendar. In the calendar, sections appear as Locations. Usage is shown as booked out of total capacity (for example, 2/3 trip units per month), based on the nicknames and daily or monthly limits set in your permit setup.
Daily View
To view location usage by day:
At the top of the Trip Calendar, click the Daily button.
By default, you'll land on the Trip list, which shows an overview of your locations and their usage. Locations are organized into groups set by the outfitter, with any others listed under Ungrouped locations.
Each location displays its booked/total usage — for example, SF3: 2/3 trip units per month, or SF1: unlimited per day.
Assign Trips to Locations
From the Daily view, you can assign trips to specific locations:
Click the Manage forecast locations tab.
Scroll to the bottom to find Unassigned units — trips that still need to be placed in a location.
Drag and drop a trip onto the location where it belongs.
Once assigned, the trip counts toward that location's usage.
Schedule View
Schedule view shows a full 7-day week. For each day, you can see location usage as well as the trips scheduled:
At the top of the Trip Calendar, click the Schedule button.
Each day displays its locations and usage (grouped, with others under Ungrouped locations), showing booked/total slots for each — for example, SF3: 2/3 trip units per month.
The trips for each day appear below that day's location usage.
Monthly View
To view location usage across the full month:
At the top of the Trip Calendar, click the Monthly button.
In the top-right options, switch from Client view or Guide view to Locations.
The month displays as a Sun–Sat grid. Each day lists every location with its booked/total usage shown beside it — for example, SF3: 0/3 or SF1: 0/∞.
