You can securely store client payment info in Brindlechute for faster bookings—especially for repeat or corporate clients.
How to add a payment method
Click Clients in the left sidebar, then click the client.
Click the Payments tab, then click Payment methods.
Click Add card or Add bank account.
Enter the payment details and save:
Card: enter the card details.
Bank account: enter the account holder's email and full name, then either search for the bank and sign in to it, or click Enter bank details manually.
Good to know
Signing in to the bank is fastest. When the client signs in to their bank, the account is verified right away.
Manually entered bank accounts need verifying. Entering bank details manually may take 1–2 business days. Stripe emails the client to verify the account. Until they do, it shows as Bank account awaiting verification when you collect a payment, and any payment on it waits until the account is verified. See What does 'expected' mean for a payment in progress?
Unfinished bank setups expire. If a bank account setup fails, or the client never finishes entering their details within 30 days, the bank account can't be used. Add it again to try a new setup.
Once saved, the client's payment method is securely stored and ready to use for future bookings—no need to re-enter details each time. To charge it, see How to Charge a Returning Client's Saved Card.
