Brindlechute lets you tailor guide payouts based on how many clients a guide is responsible for. This is ideal for walk-and-wade trips with tiered rates, float trips that occasionally carry a third angler, or any experience where compensation changes by group size. It keeps payouts accurate without manual recalculation.
How to Configure Group-Size Payouts
Open your Guide List.
Go to the Guides tab and locate the guide you want to update.Open Manage Payout.
Either click the credit card icon next to the guide’s name, or open their profile and select Manage Payout in the top-right menu.Enable Payout Amounts Per Group Size.
In the payout table, you will see the guide’s Base Payout and a second row labeled Manage for Payout Amounts Per Group Size.
Check the box for any experience where payouts should vary by group size.Set the payout for each group size.
Brindlechute populates the number of client slots based on your experience configuration.If an experience is set up as 4 Clients per guide, you’ll see four editable payout fields.
If an experience is configured as 2 clients per guide, only two payout fields will appear.
This ensures you’re only assigning payouts for the actual client capacity of that trip.
Enter the payout amount for each group size, such as increasing payouts for a third angler on a boat or tiered rates for walk-and-wade trips.
Once saved, Brindlechute automatically applies the correct payout based on the client count for the trip. Which count it uses — the clients assigned on the booking, or the clients on the submitted guide report — is set in Guide payment settings. See Choose How Guide Base Pay Is Calculated.
